A tough practice for a tough day!!

WOW so a lot has happened since ELECTION DAY!!! I hope everyone got out to VOTE that was really important, regardless as to who you were voting for just exercising your right to do it was BIG!!

However, since then I have had a few tough practice OMG, today being one of them of course… Today was just a hard one all around, today is the anniversary of my cousins death 4 years ago, which is always a hard day, and today while talking to a good friend of mine about it she encouraged me to do something special for her today and do it every year.  What I have decided to do is name a star after her, and my friend told me should would go out with me to find it once I get everything so I am really excited to do that.  Now my ANGEL will be a star in the sky looking down upon me every night, and I will be able to look up at her.  Now, today at practice was a whole different story that took my mind off of everything!!! The winds were blowing like crazy, which in other words my allergies were kicked up some and my asthma tried to creep up on me a little bit, but I got thru the work out, I didn’t let it stop me.  Today was a workout I really needed to get through, so even though I was having some trouble I thought fast and figured out how to make it work.  I need days like this to get me through the rounds and to be able to compete against my competition in  a few months.  I am glad I got through it tho. Now, I’m dead and exhausted so I’m going to wrap this up and hopefully I feel better later this week because I have a post I really want to talk about.  It is the importance of girls in sports and how not only does it effect their futures but also women of today.

I’m not sure of doing the right thing in writing these words. Yours is a post of dignity, suffering, joy of living and great feminine sensibility. A few years ago my family -wife and daughter- passed away because of a car accident. This taught me how precarious are the lives of all of us. But God gives us the strength to understand better, to do more, to give more, because this giving is the true wealth that you can live every day. From Milan, Italy.
